A blog for scholars and enthusiasts of Vladimir M. Purishkevich, a Romanov-era Russian nationalist leader of Bessarabia Moldavian origin. Purishkevich was a founding member of the Black Hundreds, and later the chief assassin of Rasputin. He was also a noted anti-"Ukrainization" activist and a leading White Russian during the Russian Civil War. Despite his anti-Bolshevism, he always maintained that the liberals were more despicable than the "extreme leftists."
